I understand the sentiment thats being said, but i do wanna add that saying that hood men are “women” trapped in a mans body doesn’t help. Ive met a lot of women who hold themselves a lot stronger emotionally than SOME of the men in my life, and they’ve raised very smart and mature people. But the fact that when we as men, call other men “women”, because they think more emotionally, is when this rhetoric becomes an issue. Emotional immaturity isn’t a man or woman problem, but a human problem. And when we give immature people firearms, its gonna be a problem. When we shame people for not being able to critically think about their emotional-state, it fires back, because said people usually take it as an attack. As a result, they attack back. We need to teach our fellow peers how to manage their emotions, but we cant help those who don’t take the help. Teaching young men stoicism only goes so far, but when you dont teach them how to manage their emotions in a healthy way (ex: crying, art, etc) of course they’re gonna be dangerous. Emotional intelligence is a very important skill to have, and shaming those who don’t have that skill wont help
