The round hemisphere shape of rice portion actually preserves the heat within the rice. Next time you start from one side of the rice rather from the top specially when you are eating during the cold temperature. 😁 just take a little portion and mix with different flavors as per convenience, 2/3/4/5 combinations one by one, that changes taste on every take with the available different varieties, that’s my style to enjoy thakali by the way.
