@audreybakes: Lemon Brownies 🍋🌼 These are perfect for spring! 💛 (recipe makes an 8x8 pan) Ingredients: 10 tbsp (140g) unsalted butter 8oz (225g) white chocolate, chopped 1¼ cups (250g) granulated sugar 2 tbsp (12g) lemon zest 2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk, room temp 3 tbsp (45g) fresh lemon juice 1 tsp vanilla extract ¾ tsp salt 1¼ cups (160g) all-purpose flour ¼ tsp baking powder Lemon glaze: 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar 1-2 tbsp (~15-30g) lemon juice Lemon zest (I added a pinch to the glaze & sprinkled more on top) Instructions: Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and line an 8x8 pan with parchment. In a bowl, rub the lemon zest into the sugar until fragrant. In a separate bowl, melt the butter and white chocolate together until smooth (let it cool slightly). Whisk the melted mixture into the lemon sugar. Then, whisk in the eggs and egg yolk until smooth. Stir in the lemon juice, vanilla, and salt. Combine the flour and baking powder together then gently fold into the wet mixture. Do not over mix. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick comes out mostly clean/with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter). Let cool completely. Combine the glaze ingredients together. Spread over the completely cooled brownies. Sprinkle some lemon zest on top. Let the glaze set for a bit before slicing. Enjoy! #bakingrecipe #lemon #brownies #lemonbrownies #Recipe
