Although some stuff in Asoiaf is unrealistc if you know medieval history, I think that the peasant revolts is a pretty cool concept that not a lot of people take into account when designing medieval style fantasy. They were pretty common in several periods

The high sparrow is why I love affc and adwd so much. The constant wars for the last few years in Westeros were brutal and the lords who enacted such a thing deserve the punishment. I’m pretty sure they’re gonna elect griff to be king and danaerys will have to deal with the fact the small folk might not want to have her rule, which would fulfill the false dragon prophecy.
