getting laid off was one of the best things that ever happened to me. I got a 10 week old puppy that I was available to care for full time. now she's 8 months old and I'm about to start working again, which is great timing. sometimes life can actually be good!!!

I agree on all points except the very first one. when I got my pup (10 weeks old) I came home on my lunch break to let her out. I just had to deal with a couple weeks of potty pads and a longer potty training period but it was totally doable and my pup learned very quickly once she WAS able to hold her bladder. but this was only possible because I had a safe spot for her to stay (and sleep most of that time) while I was away. Working people got puppies before work from home and it worked out fine.

I asked the rescue for the LAZIEST full grown dog they had & they DELIVERED. He’s perfect, even came house trained, a full work day as well 😌

I hired a rover sitter in my neighborhood and he went over there every day for day care from week 10 to 6 months when we went to work with me 😂😅

im about to adopt a 2year old dog. he is cat friendly and my cat is dog friendly. im open to any and all tips! I grew up with dogs but my parents always took care of everything and I just let them out and fed them.
