@in.good.hands.collective: This is NOT sleep training, this is using your baby’s development in your favor. Babies start to learn routines on average around 6 weeks old and begin to understand cues, especially when kept very consistent! Setting routines and consistent behaviors around sleep early pays off in the long run! Utilize their love for movement and exploration to your advantage by offering enriching wake windows with free movement and sensory input followed by consistent cues for when you want baby to start transitioning to sleepy time 😴 For more beginner basics on sleep - check out the resource link in my bio and download my Sleep Starter Guide 💤 #babysleep #babydevelopment #naptime #therapytricks
I was putting a incredible amount of pressure on myself trying to get him to nap at certain times during the day, (specially as he doesn’t nap in his crib during the day) i was so scared of him becoming overtired and counting how much sleep he got. Trying to schedule every nap & timing it ect. Im now at the stage where if hes napping in his bouncer or on me or napping anywhere for that matter even if hes had 2 naps or 3 for however long im happy 😅

11 week old goes down for night time sleep pretty well. Naps are a different story! As soon as I set her down she wakes up or has to be dead asleep and then only sleeps 20ish minutes. I can only get her to sleep longer if in her carrier 😅😭

Curious if you have any tips for transitioning from contact naps to crib naps!! My 7 mo old son is sensory seeking and he loves his contact naps. Anytime I try to lay him down during the day he wakes immediately and won’t go back to sleep. We tried crib naps when we was 5 mo and it impacted night sleep, so we went back to contact naps and never tried again! As much as I love the daytime snuggles, I know I need to start the transition to crib naps 😅

Our 9 week baby is fighting every single day nap and it takes easily 20min to help him fall asleep. He is crying almost the whole time until he falls asleep. He can only fall asleep while being in a carrier, even stroller is not an option anymore. Any tips? 😭

We had one week of terrible naps, where he would only sleep for 30 minutes and only if he was on me. Then he was put outside in a stroller in the middle of February and slept for 3 hours, we haven't had trouble since unless we make him sleep indoors during the day.

my baby (5 weeks) is the opposite. she loves napping in the day, no issues at all putting her in the bassinet in daylight. but at night time she only sleeps for contact naps.

What carrier do you recommend? My 10 week old hates all the ones I’ve tried. Momcozy, ergobaby, and boba wrap are no goes so far!
