@abamadeez: Working towards your BCBA? Maximize those hours! ⏰ If you're working 30 hours/week, you're clocking 120 hours/month! If you max out at 160 hours, that could get you done in under 10 months! Don't forget: assessments like VB-MAPP can be unrestricted hours. Training other professionals? That counts too! 💡 Always confirm with your BCBA what qualifies. What's your biggest hack for tracking hours? Share below! 👇 #ABAMadeEZ #BCBALife #ABAStudent #RBT #ABASupervision

How quick could you finish if you do the 160 hours a month and do concentrated route 1,500?

My job caps it at 10 hours a week and my bcba is restricting my ability to collect more out side of that. But yet I’m being told I need to finish by October, I feel so discouraged due to my experience at the moment.

Such a common problem! If students or supervisors are looking for unrestricted ideas, I created a full fieldwork curriculum with applied activities that can count toward unrestricted hours (always check with your supervisor 🤗). The activities build on each other and guide your growth toward competency-based assessments for ABA students. That way you can have intentional unrestricted work and monitor your skills progress using assessments for trainees 🦄🫶🏼✨

Yesssss! My company doesn’t pay for unrestricted so I tried to give my student analysts things to do while they are direct as if they were me doing direct with the kiddo (probing, assessing, taking baseline data!) it’s so possible

My company isn’t letting me do it this way. They are strict on that 60/40 so I can’t go crazy on the restricted

I have been an RBT for over 4 years and this field has become a part of me. I started as an RBT and now I am getting ready to take my board exam. This journey has not been easy but it has been worth every single moment. Along the way I felt the struggle of jumping between resources, never feeling fully prepared, and wondering if I was doing enough. That frustration is what pushed me to build something for all of us in this community. I poured my heart into it because I know exactly what it feels like to be in your shoes. If you have 5 minutes of your time please go check it out at studybeeaba.com and let me know what you think. Good or bad I genuinely want to hear it. This was built for you and for every single person in this field who is working so hard to get certified. 🐝
