@kienobimedia: Low watch time? Fix it 👇 🔁 Share this with a creator stuck with low retention Here’s what each metric actually means: 1️⃣ Low watch time = Weak hook Your first 3 seconds didn’t stop the scroll. People swiped away before your content even started. The algorithm sees this as a sign your content isn’t worth pushing. Fix: – Use pattern interrupts (unexpected visuals or statements) – Start with a bold claim or controversial take – Show the payoff in the first frame 2️⃣ Low shares = Weak call to action People watched but didn’t feel compelled to share. Your content was good enough to consume but not valuable enough to send to others. Fix: – Make your CTA specific (“Share this with a creator stuck at 500 followers”) – Create share worthy moments (aha moments, relatable struggles) – End with a clear next step 3️⃣ Low reach = Topic wasn’t strong enough Instagram didn’t push it because people didn’t engage. The platform tests every post with a small audience first. If they don’t care, it dies there. Fix: – Validate ideas before filming with polls or comments – Study what’s currently working in your niche – Focus on pain points your audience actually has 4️⃣ Low engagement overall = Content was not great The whole thing didn’t deliver value. No sugarcoating it. The editing, pacing, or message missed the mark completely. Fix: – Study your top 3 posts and replicate what worked – Ask your audience what they want to see more of – Film 3 versions of the same idea and test which performs best Most creators blame the algorithm when the real issue is the execution. But the key is keep testing and doing. I personally have a lot of flopped videos as well. 🔁 Share with a creator who needs this #socialmedia #contentcreator #growth #tiktoktips #tiktokgrowth
