worst one i worked was a wedding. 12 people turned up. they had a great time but how horrible to invite all those people and only find out on the day that those you thought were friends didn't think the same of you.

Why can people just say no if they not going? All that food, money, energy, love and time gone into creating a special night for lots of people to only have 12 true friends turn up. You could have had a small intimate gathering with those people and saved a fortune. Hold those 12 tight, they precious 🥰

Out of curiosity what type of friend are you? Always see these posts and wonder. Do you socialise go on nights out/trips with friends work colleagues or are you more family only as in your husband and kids. Nothing wrong with that but I think it makes a difference when it comes to you then wanting people to socialise for you. I would definitely be asking a few people to answer me honestly why they didn’t come so I could figure it out
