We act like unfettered, technological advancement, the death of the ecological world and the decline of society is inevitable. It’s not. Just because it’s possible to develop a technology doesn’t mean it’s ethical or positive to develop the technology.

I am overwhelmingly against AI, that being said I have been able to create apps that I would not be able to afford to create on my own. I’ve had these ideas for a long time I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to bring them to fruition and I have been able to get farther faster and accomplish more with AI than I ever could with the money and time that I put in before. It’s a double edged sword.

Big tech has been doing this for the last 20 years with every new software technology. Remember when Uber were subsidizing rides? It's the same playbook. Offer af lower ( or free) rate to capture the market, when you gain stronger position in the marker start making the profits back...

I have gone full circle with AI personally. It was really good I used it in a variety of ways and then quality dropped and then as I start using it for more technical things you see the error rate and then double checking constantly and it’s like parenting a small child that has access to so much knowledge but no self control and now I’m back to the beginning realizing my thoughts opinions choices are even better than what AI can suggest and it has been a really cool and frustrating and enlightening journey to remind me that nothing can replace my brilliant mind and AI is a tool that we use not a replacement for anything / everything
