I just finished this and was like… all of it was so obvious ?? lol like at no point was I shocked by any of the twists haha I thought the 2nd one was just ….. fine. I’ll still continue with the series but also I agree- very slow moving / boring parts. Definitely a filler book. I agree it sound have been a prequel!

You clocked it faster than I did that she was her mom. It literally took me until almost the end of the book to put the final pieces together. I was so annoyed they weren’t meeting almost the whole time 😂 then I felt stupid when I figured it out 🤦🏼♀️
