@full_pawtential: Dogs that most people say are ‘dominant’ are actually the ones that are the most scared, frightened, worried, or anxious. And the methods used by people who don’t know any better to ‘stop a dog being dominant’ are generally things that make the dog feel even worse. Crazy isn’t it? #DogTraining
my dog and I constantly battle ranks as to who is the silliest goose in the house... our orange cat always wins 🙄

I cringe when I hear people continue to spread that misinformation about dogs. It has lead to so much mistreatment and misunderstanding of dogs.

Omg! Pike and I were at the Cherry Creek dog park the other day and he was circling, barking, and “herding”. Some old man told me, “your dog is dominant of you or he wouldn’t act this way.” I said,”no, he’s an Aussie and this is what he does.” He replied, “well I’ve been raising dogs since I was 12, I would know.” I snapped, “have you raised Aussies?!” He said no. I told them, “then go f*ck yourself.”

TY! I can’t stand the fact that people believe that. A certain trainer should have never had a tv show.
