I think verzuz needs to go back to just 2 artists/producers sitting in a room, telling stories behind songs/beats/etc., and just playing the songs! No more performances and theatrics!

But if you write songs that is apart of your catalog. It’s not Tank fault Tyrese never wrote for anybody. When verzuz started it was folks who wrote and performed songs. Ne-Yo and Johnta Austin and they both played their own songs and songs they wrote. Same with Sean Garret and The Dream, or Babyface and Teddy Riley. I’m not mad at Tank for getting up there and performing songs he wrote for others. The precedent had been set.

If Tyrese catalog was that strong it could have stood against most of what Tank threw out there. Tank didn't cheat. And nobody decides VS. Fans choose who they like more. Everybody don't have to agree. Y'all doing too much. It's just music and supposed to be fun.

I disagree but started with producers and writers getting credit the fact that he writes isn't a knock against him. the point is for those behind the scenes to get recognition. I think Tyrese undersold himself he had mad classics and deep cuts and features he didn't perform
