I think it’s Seiler’s Vintage Hotel in Kandersteg. I was certain it was Switzerland from the views, so I started looking at different parts to see if I could spot anything about the mountains that was distinctive. That didn’t get me anywhere so I decided to look at flags. I know each municipality within each Canton in Switzerland has their own flag, and decided to start with Bern because some of my favourite childhood books featured that area (shout out Chalet School). Spotted Kandersteg’s flag when going through the Wikipedia list, which looked right so dropped down to Google Maps and looked at hotels preview images. This one seemed to have the same shaped balcony dividers so dropped down to street view and confirmed it with the yellow sign that isn’t readable in the video.

It is Kandersteg in Switzerland. First of all the flag looks more like Switzerland than Austria. I started looking for villages in Switzerland and found an article called "20 most beautiful villages in Switzerland". I started checking them one by one and when I got to Kandersteg I knew this was it, the mountains were the same. After that I looked for hotels in Kandersteg and this Sailor's Vintage hotel was the 4th option in booking. When I checked it I found this photo.

I don’t know if this method is josemonkey approved, but there is an old yellow VW Beetle in the first scene of the last video. So I googled „yellow VW Beetle oldtimer hotel Switzerland“ and one of the first pictures I found was a yellow VW Beetle with a hotel logo on the side that looked suspiciously similar to the blurry hotel logo in the video. Checked the location in Google Street View… and guys, that was it. Took me less than two minutes to find 😊

The last one is in Kanderstag, Switzerland. The first clue was the distinct Swiss flag in the background. Then i also noticed the sun-shaped logo on the top of the hotel sign. Knowing the language was likely to be German or French, i typed in “small swiss town with soleil logo.”
