When you complete a program you get a certificate but when you take the state exam and you pass you become “Certified” also referred as CNA License. So congratulations girly get that money 🫶🏼✨

Yes it’s a license you have to renew it just like a nurse does. I started off working as an unlicensed CNA a month before I took my exam to become licensed. Now I’m a LPN and graduate the LPN-RN bridge program in 5 months. CNA is a great way to learn basic skills and most importantly compassion & time management

In the state of Arizona we have CNA which is the certification and then we have a LICENSED nursing assistant as well. These comments are not it AT ALL. Congratulations girly ! 🎉🎉

Licensing vs. Certification In many states, the term "licensed" and "certified" are used interchangeably for CNAs, but technical requirements vary. Even with a number, you aren't legally authorized to perform duties until your name officially appears on the registry as Active….. so yes SHES LICENSED!
