I HATE microfiber towels too! it has NEVER made sense to me and for some crazy insane reason my husband buys them to wash his car with, but I DISPIZE them. Forget trying to wash them. I throw them away each time I find one in the dryer that's clinging to my underwear 😂😂

Flour sack towels are thin cotton towels! Less absorbent than terry/microfiber but not a nightmare experience!

Flour sack towels are my favourite kitchen towels. Simple thin white cotton. They're surprisingly thirsty for their thinness, dry quickly after use, wash up easily, and you can bleach them. When brand new they can seem underwhelming, but they improve with use. Give them a few laundry cycles to reach peak efficiency for drying dishes.

Walmart has bar towels that are not microfiber. They are white so you need to bleach them but it’s better than those microfiber towels.
