You can die on that hill, but I only like hearing it if I, personally, know I've done a good job. I hate hearing praise if I'm at odds with the praise given to me. Also, the moment someone says anything more than 'good job', it feels so wrong. To me, that is. I do, however, love praising others 🥰

I don't have a kink like that, but in my case, it's a result of a trauma. I feel terribly insecure in life, and when I'm praised, I just can't subconsciously believe it. Even if it's deserved.

I suppose in some context yes. But as someone with a buttload of trauma, I often get really angry when im complimented or praised 🤷‍♀️and genuinely ask people around me not to do it.
