We found that good ole thc pen that my son said that he didn’t have and didn’t belong to him 🤦🏽‍♀️. The new lie was he got it from the neighbor. I’m telling yall as a parent, sometimes you can do all that you can to try to lead these kids in the right do that they do not have to experience a hard life where life has to be the best teacher to them but at the end of the day they will still make their own choices. As parents, we will not give up on them but I don’t mind letting him experience that hardship while he’s still with me. As long as God keeps giving me the strength, I’ll do my best to lead him the right way. If you’re going through it with your teenager, please know that you’re not alone. Unfortunately some kids rather learn the hard way and it sucks because that’s exactly what we’re trying to avoid. I’ve sent him to live with his biological father, and each time he came back worse off then he was when he left. He wasn’t doing his work at one school, got kicked out of military school, got moved to another school and still wouldn’t do the right thing. He was already finding people to give him vaoes before he left that I kept throwing away. He developed a drinking habit and thc addiction and has to repeat the same grade over again in homeschool this year. Got him back, got him back on track, got him a job and now it’s back to the same old bad habits of lying, trying to manipulate the house, and doing a whole lot of what he want to do and not what he needs to do. As frustrating as this is, we will continue to pray for him and stand firm with teaching and showing him the way to go. I’m very aware that you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink it. At the end of the day, as soon as he’s out of our sight he will do whatever he wants to do. 🤦🏽‍♀️ something’s you just have to let go and let God and the children that he loaned you is one of them. You may not think that you can get through to them, but God knows exactly what needs to happen. I’m responsible for teaching him what’s right, he’s responsible for putting my words into action. Yes I’m sharing my struggles with the world and no idc about being judged. My truth is to only show the ones who understand that you’re not alone. let’s continue to pray for them and lead them in the right direction no matter how hard that may seem. ONE DAY, They’ll finally understand and they’ll thank you later. Watch who you allow around your children, you never know what “spirits” or bad habits that will attach themselves to them. I’m not ashamed, it’s life and I know that I’m not alone. I’m claiming that the Devil won’t take mine to hell withem. I’m believing God for a full blown transformation, no matter how long that it takes . Surely if God could do it for me, I know that he can do it for him. This is what REAL LIFE PARENTING, LOOKS LIKE. Sometimes you got to let life be the best teacher and pray that God covers them and have mercy on their souls. even this too shall part.
