This is all so true I work at a dealership and just worked with Delivrd and it was such an easy transaction. Tommy is not the bad guy for dealerships he is actually super reasonable

This American Life did a great podcast a few years ago where they spent time with a dealership. They were so desperate to hit their number by the end of the month they were offering huge discounts just to get a deal done by the end of the month

Bought a 2020 grand Cherokee w/ 18k miles just a week ago. Dealership advertised 25k but wanted 32k when i went inside. Left with the car, 23k out the door. I watched Tomi before buying and it helped!

Thank you for saying this though. There’s a huge group of people who refuse to believe there isn’t 10k+ of margin in these vehicles and believe dealerships never sell for a loss.

absolutely full of facts in this video. I bought a mustang for a huge loss to the dealer (over 8k) and I had them throw in a few things as well because they knew i would buy it at a set price and the end of June came and at closing time for the dealership I got a call because they were 1 car short and had been talking to them for a while about the car at a set price I had.
