listen I had a someone say to me 'sorry I'm not breastfeeding' and I'm like babes that's not what I care about I just need to know what your favourite meals are so I can drop them off at your door no pressure to host or talk, if you need anything from the shops if I'm Going, formula nappies wipes chocolate wine let me know I'll get it, need a shower but partners gone back to work? ok let me know I'll come over hold the baby maybe even strap them too me and do some washing and your dishes, I'll even braid your hair so it's out your way till the next shower you can get, you deserve care as well, also need some bottles sterilising but can't get off the couch, hand me the Milton tabs girly Ill sort it, bottles ready for the next feed, need a chat call me or I'll come over, I'm here to take care of you so you can take care of your gorgeous baby

As a breastfeeding counselor, I am fully behind SUPPORTED is best. I have moms who I’ve supported through formula feeding. Because support shouldn’t be conditional.

Let’s face it.. by the time the baby is 2.. they will have eaten something off the floor.. and by school age they will have eaten maccas .. and by high school they will be sneaking durries and energy drinks..do what’s best for your family. Everyone else can mind their business.

I’m a retired health visitor and always had to remind families that the mum had undergone a major operation if she had a section. Therefore no driving, heavy lifting, housework including cooking and ironing for six weeks. A section is not an easy option but for some it is the only option for a variety of reasons. Knowing your history I would actively encourage your decision!

SCREAM IT LOUDER!!! I haaaaated pregnancy both times. Heartburn and HG sucked. I breastfed my first. Didn’t with my second and my second is actually hitting milestones before my first did 😂 mums shouldn’t judge each other. Build one another up and praise each other 💕💕💕
