I’m seeking a consultation for severe acne scarring on both sides of my face that has deeply impacted my emotional well-being and quality of life for years. These scars are not just cosmetic to me — they have affected my confidence, self-esteem, social life, and mental health in ways that are difficult to put into words. I spend a large part of every day thinking about or trying to hide them, and there are many days I avoid photos, social situations, and even looking in the mirror because of how devastated I feel by my appearance. I have reached a point where I feel emotionally exhausted and desperate for real help. I cry over these scars regularly and genuinely feel like they have stolen years of happiness and confidence from my life. I am looking for a dermatologist who will truly listen, take my concerns seriously, and help me explore every possible treatment option that could improve my skin and help me regain some sense of normalcy and self-confidence. I know scar revision can be a process, but I am fully committed and hopeful to work with a compassionate doctor who understands the emotional toll acne scarring can have on someone’s life
