I just drop a Tums in each hole, does the same thing. Calcium carbonate. Prevents bottom end rot.

crush the eggshell up first, put it in a cup and add lemon juice, let sit for a minute then add it. this will break the calcium down into a more easily usable form.

My tomatoes grow 13' to 15' tall. I have a 9' enclosed garden to keep out everything and they grow up through the top and lay across it.

I also did the egg thing last year, and at least didn’t kill my plants!☺️But to note, if you have indeterminate tomatoes plants, they naturally get this tall.
