@sacramentourbanmedia916: An Arizona man is facing serious charges after police say he took part in a street race that led to a deadly crash. Authorities identified the suspect as 22-year-old Christian Isaiah Randall, who has been charged with second-degree murder, along with two counts each of endangerment and aggravated assault. The charges stem from a Friday collision in Tucson, where investigators say Randall was one of two drivers seen on surveillance footage speeding far beyond the posted limit. According to police, Randall was driving a Hyundai Genesis when it slammed into a Toyota Camry carrying a 3-year-old girl and her mother, who was nine months pregnant. The force of the crash reportedly tore the Camry in half. The young child, identified by family members as Anna through an online fundraiser, died from her injuries. Police noted she was properly secured in a car seat at the time of the collision. Her mother survived but remains hospitalized. Surveillance video obtained by local media appears to show Randall’s vehicle racing alongside another car moments before the crash. Investigators say the second driver fled the scene and has not yet been identified. Just days earlier, Tucson police had warned the public that illegal street racing was becoming an increasing safety concern in the area. Reports indicate that a separate racing-related crash at the same intersection on March 1 left three people dead and another seriously hurt. Randall was also injured in the incident and taken to a hospital for treatment. After his release, he was booked into the Pima County Jail, where he is being held on a $500,000 bond. Information about his next court appearance has not yet been released.#fyp #viral
