Choose based on comfort, goal, and what feels strongest. • Underhand Close Grip → - Primary emphasis: Lower lats - Secondary emphasis: Mid-lats, biceps (due to the supinated grip) • Parallel Grip (Semi-Pronated) → Primary emphasis - Lats (mid → lower bias) Strong helpers • Teres major • Lower traps, some rhomboids/mid traps depending on how much you retract • Medium Grip → Primary emphasis: Mid-back — mid-to-upper lats, mid traps, rhomboids • Wide Grip → Primary emphasis: Upper-back — upper lats, teres major/minor, mid-to-upper traps, rear delts All variations still target the lats, but grip choice shifts the emphasis slightly.
