and with everyone out of work, there's no one to buy anything from those factories, which means large sections of the economy collapse. It's self defeating.

the fact that they can change their own battery is so biological. like, after all tje advancements it will still need a lunch break.

there's a study program in Venice FL.. if it still exists anyway.. it's experimental "resource based economy" ive always been fascinated by the concept. the idea being that everything is free other than some donation time for each citizen. which would leave humans to creating rather than pulling switches. which is better suited to our psyche .

Just looking at the images, is there a reason they can't just train robots on mocap-style movement recording? It would still need ai assistance for fine-tuning motions and actions but what's with using headsets and controllers? That's way less intuitive in the first place and increases margins for error, doesn't it?

Just wait until the robots start fixing the robots and fault finding them, thus replacing the engineers and technicians

people will always need food and shelter.
stuff that robots can not do.
factory work can be done by robots. still need humans for the important stuff.

I build assembly lines, I've built several that are operator free. 1 or 2 maintenance guys per building will all that will be there

I wonder how much it costs for everything to set up, implement, and upkeep a single AI worker over a 10 year period.

Why is the concept robots taking jobs a bad thing? I sometimes wonder if Gabriel is AI.

when they decided to switch from human operators for routing telephone calls to electronic switching everybody had a cow saying it was going to just destroy the workforce.
