Unpopular opinion: probably the most comic accurate version of venom. LOOK AT HIM, Venom wasn’t always this BIG and GAINT monster, in his first appearance he is literally almost the same size as Spiderman, just a little twice as bigger, but that’s it. They capture it the best they could’ve for the time. And he was SCARY! Scarier then Tom Hardy venom who was a goof ball (no hate tho, I loved his venom movies, and Venom is also a goofy character so that also makes him HALF comic accurate) in my opinion I think it’s the screams he does that makes him look goofy, if they made his screams deeper and more intimidating I think it’d be TOP notch.

@restinbleach22: No he never wanted to use venom in the 3rd film he was pressured by his producer to add him by popular demand he wanted to jus focus on sandman but ended up with a rushed movie and with a jam packing 3 villains, 4 if u count harry

Sam raimi didn’t wanna do the symbiote story he’s admitted he wasn’t a fan of that arc from the comics, Sony and Avi Arad were pressuring him to do that story and just got it done so he could fix any mistakes with 4 but Sony pulled that plug

to be honest I always thought this slimmer look of venom worked I always thought that since he was trying to get the perfect host Peter it adapted its second form with Eddie taking the perfect characteristics that it wants from Peter'
