well, whether he should be arrested or not depends on his condition, if he was suffering from a diabetic episode prior to getting in the car then yes he should be arrested, if he started having the episode after he started driving then no he shouldnt.

I get that the cop didn’t know, but that EMS crew should have done better. Gave him a piece of candy after checking his BGL?! Where is the glucose? The patient should of had some glucose also for emergencies like this. Driving with low blood sugar is also irresponsible and could have deadly results. Everyone needs to do better.

Driving while impaired is just that…. Just because he is having a medical complication of a condition he knew of and didn’t treat doesn’t excuse him from that.

Don't blame cops. They are not doctors.If the driver knows he's low on sugar why didn't he take a candy or whatever. Ridiculous law suit?

u put in a Iv and give him glucose. dui or not dui doesn't matter. everybody involved sucks and alcohol turns to straight sugar so I doubt that part too
