I truly understand rob’s character in needing a minute and a conversation to process that. realizing that at some point the person you love was capable of something like that is jarring. However, it got dragged too far and I felt so bad for her.

despite its flaws, i think the movie paints a great question for us and how we truly view empathy, morality and human fallibility, and how these aspects have evolved in the state of our society today. how willing are we to truly look at the people we love and accept them for who they are and not for who we paint them to be? do we truly understand what it means to accept and to come to terms with a persons ability to change? do we truly know what it means to live and love not under the guise of other people’s eyes?
