200g pasta (penne or spaghetti)
2 chicken breasts (cut into bite-size pieces)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
Optional: spinach or mushrooms
Cook the pasta
Boil salted water and cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the chicken
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and fully done. Remove and set aside.
Make the sauce
In the same pan, melt butter and add garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the cream and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Add cheese
Stir in parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
Combine everything
Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the pan. Mix well so everything is coated in the creamy sauce.
Optional add-ins
Toss in spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
