I love it when review videos come out and people start repeating exactly what they’ve heard. You try telling someone the Demon’s Souls remake was good and they will give you a full breakdown on why they think it isn’t, then you find out it’s just been copy pasted from some dudes Youtube video 🤣

i dont know anything about crow but i saw that specific video, and i cant see whats better in the remake from an artistic point, which i felt was the main issue. some things are better in the remake just by the nature of it being newer, and the things you mentioned here are just subjective takes. but from an atristic point, is there anything that offers more in the remake than in the og? im genuinly curious if anyone else sees something i dont see.

I think Ashley’s section is better in remake, and Ada’s separate ways mode too. I think Luis is more fleshed out in the remake. “Re4 is timeless and remake is a product of its time” is plain wrong, I think. Re4 is a product of its time too. I found its controls clunky, even after playing re1, 2, 3, 0, CV. Excessive QTEs. Re4 OG and Remake are the same game. One was made for a 2005 audience, and the other for a 2023 audience, and both are great

Resident Evil 4 original is my favourite game of all time but I can't pretend like the remake is an insult or anything. I enjoy playing both. But yes I do think Remake to me is like an 8, when the original is a 10
