it's definitely a success! only reason it fell apart is because the pan is too deep, so it got a bit damaged when it plopped out. other than that it's absolutely perfect 💖

![Don’t make the mistake of traveling to Japan in the wrong month without knowing this first! 🇯🇵✨ ✅ JAN — New Year (1/1–1/3) many stores close; Ski resorts, Onsen towns, popular places, the hotels get fully booked first week of Jan, so plan early. ✅ FEB — Coldest month with amazing powder snow in the mountains. Late Feb in Tokyo already starts to feel like early spring. “Kawazu-zakura” (early cherry blossoms) bloom in some areas. ❌ MAR — Beautiful but crowded from mid March. Cherry blossom + school holidays = 2–3× hotel prices. Book way in advance. ❌ APR — Peak spring + crowds. Avoid popular places (i.e. Kyoto) then you can still enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms in peace. Bloom time varies by region, so check forecasts. ✅ MAY — Golden Week (2026/4/29-5/6) is intense with crowds + high prices. But outside that week, May is one of the best months to visit. ✅ JUN — Rainy season, though in recent years it hasn’t been too rainy. Less crowd. ❌ JUL — end-July is when real continual heat begins: hot and humid. School holidays start end-July til end Aug → Some accommodations book out, so plan early. ❌ AUG — If you can, avoid August🥵 extremely hot humid + Obon holiday (2026/8/13-16) crowds. But Nagano, Tohoku region, and Hokkaido is less humid, so perfect summer escape to enjoy festivals & fireworks. ❌ SEP — Still hot and humid. Also typhoon season, so weather can be unpredictable. Hokkaido mountains’ fall foliage begins. ✅ OCT — One of the nicest months - comfortable weather and start of fall foliage. ✅ NOV — Peak autumn colors + amazing weather. Honestly one of my top recommended months to visit. ✅ DEC — Christmas vibes all month 🎄💕 Crowded from 12/28–1/3, but otherwise a wonderful time to visit. Tokyo weather is at its best!
