@fckggoodmovies: Green Book (2018) is a biographical comedy-drama inspired by a true story set in the early 1960s in the United States. The film follows Tony Vallelonga, an Italian-American bouncer from New York, who is hired to be the driver and bodyguard of a world-class African-American pianist, Dr. Don Shirley, during a concert tour across the Deep South. As they travel together, Tony relies on a guide called the “Green Book,” a real travel guide that listed safe places for Black travelers during the time of racial segregation. Throughout their journey, they face racism, cultural differences, and personal conflicts. At first, Tony and Don come from completely different worlds, but as the trip continues, they slowly develop an unexpected friendship. The movie explores themes of racism, dignity, and understanding between people from different backgrounds. Through humor, emotional moments, and powerful performances, Green Book shows how friendship and empathy can break down prejudice and change people’s perspectives. #Movies #greenbook
