not sure a poltergeist so much as a demon. just from my own experiences and the way it flipped the crucifix and attacked you. you need to reclaim that room in the name of Jesus Christ, Son of the Almighty God. cleanse room with sage or incense, sweep all negative energy out the door from corners to the door. salt the window ledge and door threshold and follow with holy water. also sprinkle holy water on any air vents and your sink, tub and yes, the toilet too. the entire time you need to speak aloud your intentions. rebuke whatever it is and tell it you do not want it there, it cannot stay there, and it has to leave. then repeat in every other room. see if that helps. good luck. I've had to eject a couple of nasty things from the house before that other people brought in. it may take a bit to get it gone honestly because it seems to want to either get rid of you or inhabit your body friend.
