I mean, people on a weight loss journey or trying to build mass may want to post it as a way of keeping themselves accountable. Furthermore, it could also be helpful to someone else who doesn’t want to share but wants to know.

Honestly it’s only toxic if you allow it to be, truthfully it’s not that deep. Sometimes people want to know for fitness related goals or information. If these videos are sensitive for you then don’t watch them. It’s meant to be informative.

Mm idk, it can’t be in the hands of a creator to make their audience responsible, self sufficient adults. If someone is sharing what they’re eating then cool, but if someone is unhealthily comparing their diet to what they’re seeing on the internet then that’s on them. That’s kinda the same thing as iPad kids, or letting the internet raise children. That will always be on the parents. You can’t blame the creator for creating, just don’t watch. Or even alcohol consumption, you can’t really blame the source of negative effects if you’re the consuming. I might be explaining wrong but I hope I’m understood
