@goliathliftzz: We already know Tom Platz has the best legs in bodybuilding history. But how much of it was genetics, and how much of it was his insane mentality? He pushed leg training beyond anyone, in many ways people say would be impossible. Squatting 225lbs for over 10minutes, over 100 reps…who on earth would be able to do that? We see many clips that just show his mentality: no room for questioning, no limiting yourself. Just push hard, one small step at a time. He befriended pain…”Welcome to the pain zone!!!” Platz method was always “just another 5” instead of counting totals. He just knew his next step was to squat again another 5 reps. That trick allowed him to go beyond and build big, muscular legs. Leg workouts with him are different, because you think you can’t do another rep, and there you go, here’s another 5 for you. So, do physical limits actually stop us, or does the mind quit first? #tomplatz #trainhardorgohome #legworkouts #goliathliftzz #tomplatzmotivation

Dhem :
Saw Tom in Birmingham years ago , he’d stopped competing and just did some cycling and his legs were still outrageously big and cut

not going to lie. that's what I do when I'm holding a air chair or plank. I count and tell myself 5-10 secs more I can do it even tho I'm burning with pain. the mind is a tricky thing.
