Mercy has been in a terrible state for about 10 seasons. Adding her major perk to her base kit could have been great—if they hadn’t nerfed it so much. They nerfed her mobility, nerfed her already weak base healing, and then added the major perk to her base kit while cutting her healing IN HALF. Considering her base healing was already nerfed, it’s like she didn’t gain anything at all. And to make it worse, her new major perk is basically the old one—but nerfed even further. The changes Mercy actually needed—moving her into a different sub-role (since she could already self-heal) and slightly increasing her healing—WERE NOT DONE. No matter how you look at it, it’s a completely unnecessary nerf.
