Why does ray tracing look better than path tracing? Shouldn’t path tracing be better especially running on a 5000€ PC? I have to go with PS5 Pro on this one

Y'all are seeing it on a tiny phone screen at a lower quality. The difference is tangible on a monitor or TV screen when actually playing.

There isn’t any actual reason to run path tracing unless you have a 5090. Path tracing should stick to animation studio applications

not knocking PC as I have my own build, but I also own all the consoles and I gotta say, the PS5 pros PSSR is doing pretty damn amazing seeing as people are comparing them to higher end cards!!!!!💯
