In China, trainees must stop water flowing out of a hole in a tank wall. They're given white cement mixed with a waterproof liquid and must quickly turn it into a paste before pressing it directly onto the leak. This is where it gets difficult. If the paste is too thick, it won't seal the hole. If it's too thin, it gets washed away instantly. So timing and pressure become critical, which is why only someone with real skill can pass this test.
