it’s fine for pvc pipes it’s speculated it eats away at the glue but if the pipe was installed correctly it will not get deep enough into the glue to weaken it much it can eat away at any exposed glue but that would be wore down anyways

I have cast iron pipes under my house and have never used any of that stuff on them. I snake the drain. But I do have a hole on one of them so I used jb weld putty and black tape to fix it under my bathroom. No one is going to fit into the space under my house I am 5’6 and 130 and barely fit down there. When I redo the bathroom I will have them redo the plumbing. It has been holding up for 5 years already

My old house had pvc pipes and that stuff worked wonders on them. Used it on my next house that did not have pvc and just destroyed them completely. 🙃 oopsie 😂
