@izzyavh: A teenage girl reportedly died after consuming multiple Alani energy drinks in a short period of time, and her parents are now suing the company. #alani #celsius #news #fyp
I love all your videos, just want to let you know the mom said in the press conference that she would have 1-2 energy drinks a day. Which is still bad, but don’t want you to spread misinformation 🤍

That her fault and her parents fault don’t be stupid and you won’t die. Everyone knows don’t drink more than 2 energy drinks a day

Alani literally has a warning on the can!! My mom wouldn’t let me have energy drinks. I still had them, but significantly less often. They also had less caffeine 😅

They stood by and provided those drinks to her. They continued to buy them and give them to her and let her drink them. They encouraged it by providing them for her. How about we charge them with child neglect! The parents are responsible for what happened and they should be taking accountability at bare minimum and I believe they should be charged with child neglect.

I personally didn’t realize Alani was an energy drink of the longest. The thing is though I don’t drink them and never really looked at the cans. With this situation though I’ve seen the cans in pics and out and about and see that they are clearly labeled.

I agree 100%! I have teenagers. I am a school nurse at a jr/sr high school. I warn my own kids. I warn kids at school. Parents need to parent.

The lawsuit is definitely an attempt at making money, it’s very telling that they are suing the local distributor not the manufacturer. They are a much smaller company more likely to settle so they don’t lose the contract to distribute alani or any other Celsius products, not to mention one of the major investors in Celsius is PepsiCo. which could also want to distance themselves from the distributor.

I'm a mother of two and would never let my child drink energy drinks. They can make that decision as an adult

I feel this same way about this and about parents trying to sue social media companies

Your very very correct. My kids weren't allowed to drink them as teens.

How many more children have to die because parents keep letting their kids drink past the caffeine limit, honestly think energy drinks should be 18+ and up

in my province in Canada a few years ago they started cracking down on packaging; of vapes, cig boxes, weed, accessories etc all the stuff 18+. the bottles of vape juice cant even have fruit on them cuz it would make them appeal to kids. I think something should be done about energy drinks too. I absolutely agree about parental responsibility but I also think that anyone under 18 just should be able to buy them

Exactly! Everyone knows 400mg is the maximum for adults, so if a child consumes caffeine it should be less, or simply none at all. Rest in peace to the girl, but it’s a misuse on the user, not the company.

Teenagers shouldn't need energy drinks. They need to stop making these drinks appealing to children & teens. They shouldn't need extra energy.

She did not have 6 cans a day that has been spreading online. Parents and attorney acknowledged having atleast 1-2 a day but not 6. Still not ideal but big difference
