my tap water has nitrates even after water conditioner and ro water is super expensive near me so I'm going to be adding more pothos It's already pretty heavily planted but I've just added red root floaters and I'm about to add more pothos

do you have to have co2 i got some plants that someone didnt want they weren't in water for a few days i cleaned them and put them in the tank they melted abit would they grow or are they a mess
