@magic_maps_official: Pulling up to a fuel station in France 🇫🇷 hits different 😂⛽️ First challenge: decoding the pumps — Gazole (diesel), Sans Plomb 95/98 (unleaded), and don’t mix them up unless you fancy a very expensive mistake 😅 Then comes the self-service situation… card in, follow the screen (in rapid-fire French), fill up, and hope you did it right 🤞 They do take a preauthorisation payment of €120-150, so your Revolut might flag that amount but don’t worry they’ll only take the amount you actually spend. And just when you think you’ve cracked it — surprise! Some places make you go inside and prepay before you even touch the pump. Just make sure you get a receipt incase you ask for the wrong fuel like I did once, so they had to exchange it for the correct fuel 🤦🏻‍♀️😬 (I’ll never make that mistake again).
