Yeah these schools really have to be tighter with admissions. I know we’re trying to tackle the upcoming anesthesia provider shortage but DANG the bar seems like it’s on the floor. It used to be the best nurses from the unit going to CRNA school and now it’s like ppl applying at less than 1 year of ICU and starting school barely before they reach the true 1 year mark.

As someone trying to get into CRNA school I could and would never act like that!!! It is a dream of mine and while I shadowed I was constantly asking questions and in complete awe of the intelligence and skill it takes to be a CRNA!
