I donated $10. I know it’s not a ton but I know it will help.

I used to work at a DV center, and I know they do great services, but my number 1 issue has always been that they didn't just straight up give survivors money that they needed to leave. this scholarship means a lot to me to see- no administrative costs, no red tape, just money to survivors.

What is a full scholarship? It’s so damn expensive to do anything I can’t imagine how hard it is to escape JUST considering the financial aspect…

I was 21, living 1/2 way across the country from my support system, isolated, and had no access to money… I finally realized that if I didn’t leave soon I wouldn’t exist anymore soon. So I called my Mom… and within the hour I had a bus ticket waiting at greyhound. It’s been almost 15 years, I’ve never seen him since, and I’m thriving more and more everyday.

I escaped abuse 23 years ago and what you’re doing in INCREDIBLE. I still deal with CPTSD. I’m so thankful you’re doing this work.

the best advice I ever got from my mother was keeping cash. I got my hidden cash from by doing $20 cash back each grocery trip. Thankfully he only paid attention to the total and I was able to grow my fund $20 at a time slowly. When I finally ran I had some cash to fall on.

I love this SO MUCH. After 18 years of coercive and financial abuse, I got out in 2018. I’m so glad that others have the support they need. ❤️

If it weren’t for TikTok I would have thought I was the only one. Yesterday was a doozie for me at the laundromat. He was drunk at 10am, embarrassed me and told me he allowed me to do my (and his) laundry. I get disability every month and pay bills but I am informed he “allowed “ me to do his laundry because he gave me $20
