Honestly the easiest intro I did was my dragonborn bard who's an old lady took the NPC role of being a server/chef at a tavern, it shockingly made everything so smooth 😭

This is why i do session 0's where i have each party member interact and rp with the world before session 1. That way they already have a connection to npcs and are used to living in the world. Also if 2 characters want to have a passing by interaction pre session they can have it where during session 1 they'll be like oh a familiar face which helps your narrative of having the party come together.

my partner is dm for a campaign were currently in, and he FORCED the players together in a way, by making us like, wake up in a dragons cave and we had to escape which made us interact and work together so we could feel the vibe of each other's characters without the whole, meeting in a tavern and just kinda being together ever since sort of thing.
