A parge is not load bearing or structural, just cosmetic. IF YOU HAVE CRACKS IN YOUR FOUNDATION WALLS, YOU NEED TO HAVE THEM INSPECTED! Cracks in cinder block walls, poured walls, or clay tile walls indicate movement. Putting lipstick on a pig just makes for a more expensive fix down the line!

you mentioned if you see daylight in the inside. how do you pipe the cement in the Crack entirely? I dont think making the cement a bit more watery would be correct.

I have a patio that has similar cracks in it. I live in the North East where it snows. Can I use the same Mortar Mix to fill in the cracks and small holes? Also would I need to put an Bonding Agent so that it would stick?

I have an old single pane window in my basement I want to get rid of it or change it up with glass block which is better that or seal it up with block. Only issue is that it’s where the dryer vent goes out an the deck is over it. I’m replacing the deck so it’s a perfect time to do it
