an airbender is able to fly when they reach a point of inner peace that they loose their metaphorical earthly chains which allows them to feel lighter. a sky bison that spends 99% of its time either eating or sleeping is like this pretty much from the day they are born

Bad argument tho, the first “they have to be light” is PROPORTIONAL. Yes the beasts are heavy, but compared to their also massive SKELETON, flying would be possible. Not arguing with the actual point, just the argument
