Social media is not fake. Going there at 7 am and having it all to yourself is not fake. Going there in the middle of the day and waiting 2 hours for a photo is not fake either. I’m all for showing reality but please don’t call someone else’s experience fake just because it was different than yours.

We went July 2023, so peak season, but woke up slightly sunrise one day and practically had the entire village to ourselves! Got to see an amazing sunrise and all the perfect photo spots with literally no lines! It was so peaceful and honestly one of our favorite memories. Social media isn’t “fake”, you just need to understand that popular places are popular for a reason and will be busy, so plan accordingly and you can still have an amazing time!

No, is not like that. Sanorini is a very nice and fascinating place. Yes, it can be overcrowded like any other tourist destinations but you cannot expect to be on om your own
