Jane Eyre made me fall in love with Charlotte Brontë’s work. I bought all of her books, including her unfinished stories, which in my country have been published only once and are hard to find. I want to read everything she has written! I absolutely love everything about Jane Eyre, and Charlotte’s writing style makes me drift into another dimension. I rarely feel such a connection with an author, and that’s exactly what happened here. ❤️

I finished Jane Eyre 2 weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m now reading Villette by Charlotte Brontë and I plan to read all three of the sisters works. This book changed my life and I now recommend it to everyone 🙏🏻

I think this is where gothic literature really peeked (of course considering Frankenstein as well) but it's such a unique story. Also, Bronte did something so strong in a time when women weren't treated the way they were supposed to. This is a fantastic read!

She's such an amazingly independently minded character as well. Not too if I like how it ends though although think that was a product of the time it was written. I read that last year and WH last month. Can't really choose between them as they're so different. What they both have in common though is how incredibly beautiful the writing is.

My 2nd favorite book of all time. She can make the most basic situations so incredibly interesting, there’s not a single word which deep thought wasn’t put into.

As an Asian it resonated with me. It’s a compelling story that blends romance, social critique, moral drama, and deep psychological insight. all told in intimate first-person voice. It influenced my novel, His Uncle’s Daughter. 😌
