Sorry I’m gonna have to agree on the communication part to your boss. It’s called professionalism. Let’s teach our children communication as well. Bosses do understand that situations can happen like this but it’s also your responsibility to communicate with them that an emergency happened. You don’t just miss a meeting and be three hours late.
